A large cast iron and glass shop display stand

A most unusual piece, we are told this was salvaged from a shop where it was used as a trade display stand but we think it’d be magnificent in a bathroom. It has a medical feel with the glass and cast iron.

The cast iron base has a wonderful chippy patina and the glass stand swivels.

Both a very attractive and very useful thing.

The glass has nibbles to the edges and scratches commensurate with age and use. It is possible the base and shelf are a marriage but they work perfectly together.
