An inlaid Georgian style bureau

A simply gorgeous, very striking bureau of good quality, with a fitted interior over three large drawers.

The real showstopper is that incredibly detailed, stylised popular Regency dolphin and urn motif, which is painstakingly rendered on every front facing plane. Exquisite!

The desk portion has a charming fitted interior with drawers, a cubbyhole cupboard, and removable pigeonhole shelving. The writing surface rests on retractable arms which are in good working order.

Likely late Victorian or early Edwardian but in the Regency/George III style.

A very useable, stylish piece and a great, rare example. Perfect for working from home with your laptop!

As seen in the images, but not limited to: wear, scratches and marks to both the interior surfaces and the exterior (the exterior is in great overall order- one faint ring mark to top). Structurally sound and solid. Please note that the pigeonhole shelves don’t all sit well (they drop/are too small on the right side)- it could be they’re in the wrong order or that the wood has shifted shape over time. An easy fix. No key.
