A silver plate horse hoof inkwell with engraved lid

An absolutely superb and complete horse hoof inkwell for the person who has everything except that extra special piece of desk furniture!

Engraved with the horse's name "Bingo," as well as the dates of its birth and death. Silver plate mounts (untested) over brass. Some rubbing as seen. Inner original glass inkwell liner is present.

A very fine and elegant example.
