An early cast iron eel spear or gore

An absolutely superb and large example (193cm) of an early eel spear, rare with its wooden handle, forged and worked by hand. A truly exceptional piece.

This piece is a less common barbed design, and most examples are found in America, this style being popular among First Nations peoples. A rare thing.
