An adult male mannequin shop display model on cast iron base

A wonderful, very rare male torso form.

Approximately a 35” chest and a 29” waist.

This beautiful piece is all original. The base is height adjustable and cast iron. The torso is partly wooden with a cardboard or papier-mache form which has a gesso/plaster overlay. The neck topper is brass or bronze. All this is finished with the most elegant peach silk waist band. Just exquisite! We’ve never seen a better example.

These are getting harder and harder to source, and male forms are especially rare so do not delay!

Condition: Where there are specific points to note we will detail these as far as possible but please be aware that all our items have wear commensurate with age and are as seen in the photographs. As seen in the images, but not limited to: Signs of use throughout (marks, pinholes etc) with some losses to the plaster overlay. Miraculously the form remains undented- so rare!
