An 18th or 19th Century Napoleonic Georgian military amputation saw

A wonderfully time-worn field amputation saw. We believe this dates to the late 1700s/early 1800s, but please satisfy yourself.

Believed to be a Napoleonic field amputation saw, this piece has its original blade and wooden handle.

Please note: there is a split to the handle but no repair- it does not go all the way through.

An excellent display piece and addition to any collection.
