A wooden artist's lay figure mounted on a stand

A superb, very large (figure 40cm/16”) characterful, and rare mounted lay figure.

This interesting, early to mid 20th century example is wonderfully made and displays so well.

It’s well carved, made with peg joints and flat head screws (unlike modern examples) and has real personality!

It’s incredibly well articulated and has a range of movement far beyond modern pieces.

A rare thing- you do not often find them in this model and they are only going up in value.

A unique piece for any would-be buyer!

One of two similar examples currently available and listed separately.
