A Victorian style bureau with ball and claw feet

A gorgeous ball and claw bureau of good quality, with a fitted interior over three large drawers.

The bureau has a lock as do two of the drawers (no key).

The desk portion has a faux brown leather pad in good order, and the open/close retractable ‘rest’ mechanism is in full working order.

The wood has a beautiful flame and there is nicely carved detailing.

A very useable, stylish piece and a great example.

If you require any specific information please do not hesitate to get in contact. As seen in the images, but not limited to: some marks to the wood. The top drawer has had the lock removed. Wear to the writing pad. We believe the fitted interior (shelves, mini drawers etc) may be a later addition or have been secured more recently as there are two newer screw heads left and right of the interior but these are unnoticeable.
