A Victorian limed oak pedestal desk

A gorgeous, petite pedestal desk with a beautiful rich leather top, multiple drawers, under cupboard with modesty board, and handsome carvings to its breakfront.

A really unusual piece and so useful. Possibly Spanish in origin. The proportions are great on this example: it is a very useable, neat size at 117cm x 52cm.

For us, this piece has the perfect patina with the right amount of age related wear. It’s in good overall condition.

The curved lines of this desk are a wonderful addition.

The two pedestals are raised on small feet.

Thick, brown tooled leather pad (with wear but in fair order).

A very stylish piece.

Condition: Where there are specific points to note we will detail these as far as possible but please be aware that all our items have wear commensurate with age and are as seen in the photographs. There are knocks to the wood and there is a minor loss to the beading on the left of the central drawer. Displays well. Structurally sound. Priced to reflect these quirks!
