A simply wonderful bible, the Old Testament dated 1815, and the New Testament 1820.

This bible is absolutely full of stunning engravings. It is a very large size (bronze skull is life size for scale).

The dedication is for 1826 with the Cane family details written in on the back pages. We were able to find the family tree online- screenshot included- and tragically two children were lost in the same year, likely during the London cholera pandemic (both the deaths were in 1852).

A truly wonderful, 200+ year old piece to treasure.
