A very large Chinese ginger jar with lid

A very large, completely wonderful Chinese lidded ginger jar, of country house proportions.

The blue and white organic pattern is just lovely and the lid is topped with a well cast foo dog, whilst the body is flanked with lion head handles.

This jar has little age but exactly the right look and is good, heavy quality. Hand painted detailing.

A superbly decorative piece, and hard to find at this very large size.
