A great toleware bicorn hat trade sign.

The blacksmith made bracket has a hook on it too, likely to hold an open/closed sign (it would look fantastic with any signage hung from it at all), which means it would make an excellent and unusual coat or hat hook!

In excellent order so likely contemporary with little age, though if you Google this piece you will see identical pieces described as 19th century so we leave you to make up your own mind. What’s certain is that it’s striking, decorative and most unusual!
