A tall oak clerk's desk

 A superb, tall, oak clerk’s desk with the most beautiful patina.

Charming details. It looks great from all angles.

The top lifts open but does not lock. However, the useful cupboard underneath the desk has an internal shelf and does have a key which locks.

This desk is the perfect height for working at, drawing at, or placing your laptop on. It would also make a great bar or restaurant meet/greet/menu station etc.

Failing that, you could don your Victorian three-piece suit and pretend to be Bob Cratchit.
