A set of three Royal Pharmaceutical Society apothecary jars

An extremely rare, simply stunning Royal Pharmaceutical Society set of 3 coloured glass and gold leaf specie or apothecary jars.

These are offered as a set of three: sulphur, zincib and myrrh. These scarce examples are superbly and intricately detailed with gold leaf accents and display exceptionally well.

These jars were produced as exact replicas of the originals, in very limited quantities (500 in total) to commemorate the 150 year anniversary of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society having been founded in 1841.

In excellent overall order, these are ready to grace any collection, and come with their original letter, the larger two also being in their original boxes.

Please note that these will be sent as a consignment of boxes to ensure safe carriage. Collection very welcome!

Dimensions:

All approximate

Large two (brown & green) 32cm

Smaller (blue) 22cm

Condition: Where there are specific points to note we will detail these as far as possible but please be aware that all our items have wear commensurate with age and are as seen in the photographs. If you require any specific information please do not hesitate to get in contact. Please note: there is rubbing to the gold leaf on the myrrh lid in particular. There is a rough area on the brown Sulphur rim but this feels like the paint rather than a fault with the glass. There is a tiny sheer inside the rim of one lid. All as shown.
