A rococo brass cherub and lion head inkwell and pen tray

A heavy and finely crafted 19th Century inkwell with pen tray surround. This is a substantial sized piece.

Every part of this piece is beautifully detailed from the faces with their wild, flowing hair on the tray rest, to the lion head motifs on the inkwell’s body, right down to the tray’s tapered bun feet.
