A pair of velvet face screens on brass stands

A gorgeous pair of rich gold, early Victorian velvet and lace face screens. The gold velvet is flocked/damask. The pretty lace is edged linen and the screen is topped with twisted silken rope thread. The brass stands are intricately worked with a star motif. These are very beautiful and display so well being a pair.
