A pair of dolphin motif brass and cast iron doorstops

A very heavy, large, rare pair of old dolphin motif doorstops. These look equally superb as display pieces and would look excellent on a mantelpiece.

The casting is wonderfully detailed, very much in the Coalbrookdale style.

The dolphin bodies are brass, and the bases are cast iron.

An excellent pair for any setting.
