A large wooden artist's lay figure ~ 72cm

A superb, characterful and very large lay figure.

This unusual and very rare model likely dates to around the first quarter to mid 20th century.

It’s mounted on a lovely oak stand, and is wonderfully posable. We’ve not seen one like this before.

The figure has been painted black at some point in its life, with some areas of the original wood (oak?) showing through. It could be stripped or dry scraped if desired.

A unique piece for any would-be buyer!
