A large carved hardwood lamp depicting Shou Lao

A wonderfully carved, very large hardwood lamp, with superb detailing.

This Chinese piece depicts Shou Lao, god of longevity, with a crane by his side. It is such a striking and unusual piece. Extremely rare especially at this size.

A very heavy piece. Likely late 19th/early 20th century, wired later.

Three core, long gold flex (bayonet bulb fitting). UK plug. This lamp has untested wiring so is sold as requiring testing by a suitably qualified person before use.
