A large Louis Philippe mercury glass gilt overmantle arched French mirror

A stunning arched mirror with beautifully foxed plate. Nicely distressed bloom. A large size, good proportions, and heavy. The wood and gesso frame has possibly been overpainted across the years. An orange gold- deep, rich colour. A great Louis Philippe/Victorian period piece.
