A large 19th Century Persian polychrome painted rocking horse on wheels

Without doubt, one of the most beautiful examples of its type that we have seen. This absolutely charming 19th Century (or earlier) horse on wheels is simply magnificent. Substantial size.

Carved solid wood. Beautifully painted polychrome body. The saddle has ornate brass stirrups and real leopard fur trim.

This special piece stands on a solid wooden board with wooden wheels (this is decorative and is not meant to be pulled along on its wheels).

An exceptional piece that won’t come again. Don’t hesitate!
