A truly gorgeous piece, this very large (84cm x 64cm) rare, original, limited edition lithograph is from the Musée Matisse, Nice in 1987 and it features Henri Matisse’s work "still life with pomegranates" (1947). It is a scare, out of print example.
The lithograph poster was published by the Musée Matisse Nice, printed in France in 1987 in an unnumbered limited edition by Editions Hazan.
The artwork featured was originally created by Matisse in 1947 titled "nature morte aux grenades" (still life with pomegranates). This lithograph is copyrighted 1987 by Spadem. Matisse’s artwork "still life with pomegranates" was especially designed by Matisse to promote the city of Nice in the South of France.
This collector's piece is a much coveted lithograph and is long out of print and very scarce to find.
It is printed on high quality heavyweight paper stock with vibrant ink colors in a satin finish. It is, in our opinion, perfectly framed in a period frame and is offered behind glass (we therefore cannot post this piece, but it can be couriered or collected in person).
We think this is truly superb. It will complete any interior.
