A gorgeous old dark brown leather armchair, extremely deep and exceptionally comfortable, very much in the Howard & Sons style.

This chair has the warmest patina and is a beautiful colour.

Gorgeous and luxurious from every angle, this chair really is a wow-piece.

Raised on solid, beautiful, turned wood legs, the front terminating in brass castors.

The springs are right and true. It is very well made indeed.

We cannot find the maker (‘Duchess Collection’ plaque/‘Lord Edwards’ style label) but believe it is of the highest quality and style, no doubt costing a small fortune new. Reassuringly it conforms to safety standards.
