A Chinese black ebonised jardinière pedestal stand

A most elegant and useful piece; classic Oriental styling in good proportions.

This ebonised stand has wonderful rising dragon form cabriole legs and pierced freeze edges in the repeating form of three lucky clouds. 

Wonderfully worked throughout, and in good, stable order. 

The piece bears a label for 'Curtiss and Sons' storage and movers, established in 1840. 

Beautiful to look at, and perfect for a plant, lamp or objet d'art.
