An absolutely stunning solid wood, carved grinder table. Though these tables are usually Indian, this one originates in Africa, likely made by Indian artisans in the traditional way. This table is not a reproduction, it is an antique, working original. We guarantee that.
This piece was purchased between the 1940s and 1978: we can be sure of this as it came from a private collection amassed by a wealthy Kenyan family within this period. It will predate this in terms of its age as the family predominantly collected antique pieces.
A wonderful thing. A cut above your average piece. It would look stunning with the addition of a glass top but is perfectly useable as it is.
We have several of these in different sizes available and priced individually.

Condition: Where there are specific points to note we will detail these as far as possible but please be aware that all our items have wear commensurate with age and are as seen in the photographs. If you require any specific information please do not hesitate to get in contact. As seen in the images, but not limited to: some losses and substantial wear as seen commensurate with age and use as a working tool. This is an absolutely authentic piece and so is far from perfect but is solid and stable. The final photo shows the patina in natural light.
