A robust and beautiful thing. This is a superb wooden top plank table with wooden folding legs.
All hardware is there- hooks, screws etc. Functions exactly right.
It bears the branded GR crown stamp verso showing it dates from George VI’s reign. All English heritage here! It would likely have had governmental provenance.
Patina galore - you can’t fake this! You could wax or stain this piece, seal in the patina, paint it or leave it as it is.
Ideal for shop use, fairs and markets, or a damn fine dining table which can also be stored away flat if space is at a premium! Easily seats eight.
