A 19th Century bronze and shagreen Asian sword with jade adornment

A beautiful, large, straight bladed sword in a curved shagreen scabbard which we believe is at least 19th Century. The handle is made of bone or wood, and a carved, milky green jade disc is attached. The piece is bound with beautiful cloud design bronze mounts.

A stunning and intriguing piece that displays wonderfully.
