An art pottery Monkey head wall plaque

A superb, large, wonderfully grotesque monkey head with a full mane and bared teeth, resembling a lion.

This wonderful piece of art pottery has a high glaze and is just so striking and unusual. Flat backed for wall mounting. The modelling is excellent.

Unsigned. Likely mid-century in date.

An oh-so beastly additional to any wall.
