A Victorian tan leather pedestal desk on castors

A gorgeous late Victorian/early Edwardian mahogany pedestal desk. The proportions are great on this substantial example.

For us, this piece has the perfect patina with the right amount of age related wear. It’s in excellent overall condition.

All drawers have brass locks (no key) and run smoothly. All the Regency style laurel wreath handles are present.

Each pedestal has 4 drawers (one top drawer is subdivided) and a central larger drawer.

Tooled gold design to the perfectly worn tan leather pad.

The desk separates into 3 pieces (top and two pedestals) making it ideal for transportation and getting into a smaller, more compact space.

It is raised up on porcelain castors to each pedestal.

A wonderfully stylish and useful piece, looking for its new home.
