A very large pair of garden statues depicting Apollo and Diana

A nicely weathered and very large example of the classically represented Apollo the Hunter with his quiver, bow and arrows, and dog by his side, together with the equally beautiful Diana (or Artemis).

Rare at this scale. These almost life size pieces are of Country House-proportions.

Well modelled, likely mid-century examples.

This phenomenal pair of neoclassical garden statues stand at around 5 1/2 foot on their pedestals and are just superb.

They have been painted white over the years and are in excellent order.

Perfect stood together flanking an entranceway, or gazing at each other across a garden.. They would also be most at home indoors in a hallway or orangery for example.
