A very large hand-carved wooden plaque depicting Neptune

A superb one-off, this large (100cm!) and marvellous piece is hand carved depicting Neptune or Poseidon in a scallop shell surrounded by reeds.

This piece has great age, and has been many colours across the decades. We believe it may once have been part of a theatre’s proscenium arch.

Scratch-made, this piece would look perfect in a home or commercial setting, maybe in a bathroom or anywhere with a nautical theme. Completely unique.
