A terracotta Mangbetu bust

This stunning bust is skillfully sculpted in terracotta, depicting a Mangbetu person from the Democratic Republic of Congo (slightly smaller than life).

It is an extremely handsome piece, modelled well with excellent detail and patina. It has good age (likely early to mid 20th century).

This piece has a truly wonderful decorative presence.
