A portrait painting of Christ

An absolutely wonderful original oil on canvas depicting Jesus in His red cloak and crown of thorns, by the hand of an ‘old Master’. Jesus’ expression is sensitively rendered and the whole work is moving to behold. Sadly it is a painting which does not photograph well- it is far more beautiful in reality.

Superbly framed in a period mount.
