A pair of wooden Balinese marionettes

An absolutely superb, very large, hand made pair of carved wooden marionettes.

This Balinese Prince and Princess are truly exceptional, from his real hair moustache, through to the beautifully embossed metal work- mounted on springs to enhance their movement! These two are absolute works of folk art. No detail is spared.

Each marionette has a bespoke stand so they can be displayed in all their glory. They are also fully working with all their articulation functioning correctly. You won’t find a more beautiful pair.
