A pair of large hand-painted Japanese Imari ginger jars

An exquisite pair of porcelain lidded ginger or temple jars. These are beautifully hand painted in the Imari style and traditional colours. Very attractive and delicate.

Marked and labelled to the base. Early to mid 20th century. Each piece is very large and very heavy.

These display extremely well. You will not find a finer pair. In exceptional condition.
