A mirrored butler's ball

A highly unusual and very rare mirrored glass butler’s ball.

These were originally used to allow servants to discreetly get on with duties whilst being able to see behind them so they could anticipate any needs of their employers.

A superb piece- this does have age but we’re uncertain of the date.
