A large terracotta country house urn on plinth

An absolutely stunning, exceptional country house stone urn. We are told this is white terracotta.

The urn is painted white on a pale blue base, both of which are beautifully weathered and worn.

The base is stepped and the open base urn sits beautifully on top. The urn has alternate layers of dark red/terracotta/brown coloured glaze to its rim, which can be seen through its weathering, and gorgeous scroll and acanthus leaf detailing. Excellent quality.

This is an absolutely wonderful, large, statement piece to grace any setting- both interior or exterior.

It comes in two portions for transportation. Both pieces are, of course, very heavy.
