A large red glass carboy

A very large and truly beautiful, original chemist’s glass carboy. We have never had one in red: the quintessential pharmacy symbol (as per the final image- not included in the sale!).

This wonderful carboy would once have stood in a chemist’s window, acting as a trade sign for those of the population who couldn’t read.

This exceptionally large piece (62cm!) displays beautifully.

Carboys are now just so hard to come by, and this is an excellent and very rare example in superb order, complete with its elegant stopper.

Perfect for any setting, we think it displays especially well in a bathroom or kitchen.
