A framed public house advertising mirror

A rare and wonderful thing, especially if your name is Charlie! This mirror would likely have been part of internal panelling/hidden storage within a commercial establishment such as a pub, restaurant or shop once upon a time.

This panel has been salvaged and made ready for wall mounting, where you can see it was once a panel or hatch. Though Charlie’s was clearly around from 1917, we would estimate this mirror is later at mid-century or so, though it may indeed be from 1917.

A really unusual piece.
