A fortune teller's crystal ball on a silver plated Art Nouveau stand

A wonderful crystal ball housed in an antique, wonderfully worn, silver plated Art Nouveau stand adorned with organic motifs, and stamped beneath for Liberty and Co, (retailer) having been produced by Elkington and Co (also stamped) and with the date letter M signifying 1851.

This piece has a beautifully decorative look; it is heavy and of a good size. It is of English origin.
