A fortune teller's crystal ball on a bronze and marble stand

A wonderful, large crystal gazing ball and stand, adorned with the most beautiful bronze putti.

The bronze putti are reminiscent of small Atlas figures, holding the weight of the ball on their backs. 

The base of the stand is black polished marble.

The ball is a later addition as it is fairly smooth whereas very early ones are rippled. It nestles perfectly in the stand.

These are very rare things and becoming so far to find, so do not miss out. This is a stunning, unusual example.

The perfect centerpiece on a gypsy table, or addition to your wunderkammer. A great piece for any interior.
