A 19th Century portrait photograph of a gentleman

A superb carbon photograph of a wonderful Victorian gent in a lovely glazed frame with charming gesso detailing.

A great decorative piece for any wall.

The work is signed P F Patrick of Edinburgh- Peter Finlay Patrick was a carver, gilder and photographer. He described himself as a ‘Photographic Artist’. He took portraits, landscapes and architectural views and had studios in Edinburgh between 1879 and 1896, and also in Forfar. He later became a tailor.

This great piece is ready to hang.
