A 19th Century James Swift brass monocular microscope

A beautiful, late Victorian monocular microscope by James Swift of University Street, London, WC.

It all appears to move in the right way but it’s not been tested with slides. All lenses appear to be present and correct.

The microscope itself is removable from the holder/stand.

A wonderful thing.
