A red toleware "Koffie" tin ~ medium

A wonderful old red “Koffie” tin. Perfect for storage, or just purely as a decorative item.

This medium sized red coffee tin has lithographic gold lettering and a stunning design, typical of the Art Nouveau period.

Made by J Schuybroek of Antwerp/Anvers, Belgium c.1905.

It is an absolutely wonderful thing and in great order- these are often incredibly worn but the colour here is vivid and bold.
