A square sorcerer's mirror

A beautiful, large sorcerer’s style mirror which has a deep mirrored frame with multiple convex facets. Each reflects its own discreet and complete scene with the look of a piece decades old.

A contemporary mirror, in an older distressed style. A great look for a fraction of the price of a 19th century example.

Sorcerers mirrors were popular through the 19th century and early 20th century, when interest in the occult was at a peek. They were sometimes used for scrying or to hang in the home, where the distorted image was believed to ward off evil spirits, much like a witch ball.
