A large modernist abstract oil painting - A triptych over 2m

A truly exceptional piece, this very large (over 2m), three part panel painting is a stunning original painting dating to 1966 and signed ‘B L Cook’.

This work is oil on board. A warm, earthy palette.

The style reminds us of Russian/Ukrainian works such as those by Ekster, and would not be out of place among Modernist, Cubist, Futurist or Constructivist works.

They can be mounted horizontally or vertically.

The boards bear pencil annotations verso for ‘top part’, ‘middle part’ etc. suggesting the work was previously hung vertically though we prefer it horizontally: it looks breathtaking in either orientation.

These can be enjoyed as they are, or framed as one large piece or three separate paintings.

We think these are truly superb. They will complete any interior.
