A large red velvet ball and claw footstool

A wonderful, large vintage footstool or bench seat in an earlier Georgian style.

The legs on this are just stunning! Ornately hand carved cabriole shape terminating in ball and claw feet. Our favourite!

Extremely comfortable.

The material is similar to velvet- it has a low pile you can ‘brush’ back and forth. The colour is a deep pink, at the red end of the spectrum- a rose pink. It has a dark fleck in it giving the fabric a mottled look. The upholstery is in excellent order with no obvious marks.

A wonderful piece for a window, hallway, at the end of a bed, or as a footstool or coffee table in any interior.
