A Georgian style tilt top table with ball and claw feet

A simply wonderful old tilt top table in the Georgian style.

The three plank top has the most beautiful pie crust design, and the elongated ball & claw feet are superb.

The legs are intricately carved, and the tilt top sits on a charming gallery- all just wonderful details that confirm the quality of this piece.

The whole patina of the table is so attractive- it almost has a chalky/limed finish. Possibly white oak? The light/blonde colour really gives the piece a contemporary feel.

The tilt mechanism works well- the brass hook and the catch all operate smoothly.

The table is solid and secure and structurally sound.

A special table for the lover of the unusual…
