A carved wooden Chinese altar cabinet

A most wonderfully worked and handsome old Chinese altar cabinet.

This piece is darkest brown, almost black with beautifully gold accented carvings.

Really well made with attention to detail on both the construction and the appearance. In very good, stable order.

This cabinet has false doors, actually housing two large, deep and long drawers, which when removed reveal a secret cavity below.

Beautiful to look at, and useful too. It does not get better. A piece to treasure.
