A set of six hand-painted alabaster fruits

A very rare and absolutely beautiful old set of solid marble or alabaster fruit. All hand painted and hand carved- as unique and characterful as real fruit!

These pieces have good age and are most likely Italian in origin where they were extremely popular.

This set comprises six heavy pieces: oranges, pears, an apricot, a peach. They are each carefully recreated and have such a realistic appearance.

These will make a beautiful still life display whether they are kept together, split into their individual fruits or grouped.

Please note: the velvet stand and bowl are not included, just the fruits.
